and a new looking t shirt for my daughter...
I laid it out to photograph it and Freddy couldn't resist coming to lie on it.
My daughter fared no better with this tiny pile of treasures...
She's not really into sewing but the thimble and beads are for her Littlest Pet Shop animals that she likes to customise with sequins, beads, blu tack and pipe cleaners.
Fortunately the chazzing in our town has had much more to offer lately. I snapped up two rolls of vintage wallpaper. Yay!
And these utterly beautiful and comfortable Hush Puppies.
Hush Puppies may be granny shoes but I've already spent a day in them with no blisters at all so I must be at the age where comfort is more important than the connotations of the label.
In other news, my first batch of kitchen related products should be arriving next week and I'm dying to show you! Shame my kitchen isn't photo shoot ready. Soon....

DeleteI used to wonder that Emma so I asked someone - apparently in some other countries they call Charity shops Opportunity shops so much nicer as they really are full of undiscovered opportunities - can't beat chazzing though, I was really happy to pick up a pair of Salter kitchen scales the other day for £2.99 - really heavy and good quality and pretty old I'm guessing as they measure in lb and oz only.
DeleteI've had my £2 Hush Puppies boots on this morning to go booting, can't beat them for comfort. Those shoes aren't in the least bit Grannyish. Love those plastic animals, I'd turn those cats into earrings. Freddie seems to approve of your finds! x

ReplyDeleteI've been collecting for a patchwork vintage wallpaper wall. Still haven't quite worked out where this will be but I always pick up rolls when I see them as they're quite valuable.

Hi please help...ive got two rolls of vintage wallpaper I intend to get hung ! But the problem I have is I don't know how much is on each roll ?? Do you know what was the standard roll size back then 1960s ...kind regards Debbie
