I just think your stuff is WONDERFUL. I can't wait till I have to furnish a house (flat, shed), I feel so inspired. Thank you
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteJust found your blog. GREAT before/afters!!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to have found your blog...been debating for months on what to do with a pine dresser almost identical to the one you have transformed. Now I know! Thanks for such an informative and light hearted read.
ReplyDeleteThank you Pearl!
DeleteYou're a genius.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI love your pine table and am inspired to tackle mine. I saw on your table top blog the 1 leg bleached during testing and as it didn't stand out on the PIC of just legs thought you must of bleached them all. Please can u clarify what u did to the legs, did u bleach them and after painting did u sand/varnish?
ReplyDeleteI don't know where u find the time, u must be extremely organised as well as motivated. Well done you x
Thanks
Thank you! No I didn't bleach the legs. I intended to paint them so I used 1 leg to see how well the bleach worked.
DeleteI painted the legs with homemade chalk paint made with plaster of paris in a chocolate milk colour. I rubbed over with a candle, then I painted over with matt emulsion in cream, sanded back and waxed.
Good luck with yours! x
