Great Interior Design Challenge SERIES TWO!!!

Hooray, hooray, I've just been asked by a lady from the Great Interior Design Challenge to ask you guys if you'd like to take part in SERIES TWO! I'm so thrilled there's going to be a second series!

Sadly I cannot enter as it takes me three weeks to finish just one bedroom floor and I cause sanders to catch fire in the process. It's just not what clients want I'm afraid.

But you people, would be awesome I just know it. You don't have to have a blog. If you are an amateur interior designer then this is for you.

Just think; you could ask Sophie where she got her orange dress from and gaze upon Daniels tartan trews.

You need to apply asap to designing@studiolambert.com

Chalkysoil? Jumblejack? All the people with opinions about the last series? The thousands of you who read my previous post?
Come on and show us what you've got!

  1. I didn't see it until the last couple of shows but loved every minute that I saw. I'm much more of an observer than participant so I'll leave applying to those who are happy to step forward. I'm just thrilled there's going to be a second series!

    1. I wonder if it's still on i player? Or is it repeated at all?
      I'm so thrilled too! x

  2. I would absolutely LOVE to take part but way too terrifying for me I'm afraid! I don't think I have ever fully finished a room in my life so not much chance in 48 hours!
You would be great - no harm in applying ;)
Really looking forward to watching another series though xx

  3. I'm far too slow and I don't really want to be an interior designer. Pleasing clients would be hard. I'd impose my taste on them. :)
So looking forward to it though! xx

  4. thanks for mentioning me (chalkysoil) but I am so camera shy I would die. Plus I don't watch tv except an occasional Hoarder episode to motivate me, and the news. My style is shabby boho vintage eclectic so that is all a client would get. Lol. I really love moving other peoples crap around their house so it looks nice/tidy/clean/artistic. Meanwhile I'm trying to justify having 6 sacks of driftwood drying in my dining room.

    1. Oh come on. Six sacks of driftwood drying needs no justification at all! You can come and tidy my place any time! xx

  5. People keep suggesting that I apply for The Sewing Bee. I couldn't bear to see (or hear) myself on the telly. I wish you'd apply, I'd definitely watch it then! x

  6. Ooh, you'd be great on that, but I know what you mean. I have no desire to see myself on telly either. xx

  7. I absolutely loved all of it too and would love to do it, but I think I'd be way too nervous. Plus, I think designing a room when you haven't actually met the clients, or seen the room or the rest of their house would be really hard.
Looking forward to the second series though, I'd be glued to my seat !

    1. It would be dreadfull actually if you had to paint rooms red, yellow or orange. I just couldn't bring myself to do it... let's stick with white!
I hope they film it all fast and get it back on the telly. I think they need a kids version too. My seven year old is SOOO opinionated about my redecoration of her bedroom. And seven year olds know everything. I'm having to pitch her my ideas and she's a tough client to please.

    2. Lol, that's a great idea, you should pitch it to them !

  8. Whilst I love all things interiors, I doubt a client would appreciate my half-arsed-but-its-sort-of-close-enough method of decorating. Glad to hear it's coming back though! xxx
