Guess what I've been up to?

I'll give you a clue: I haven't been working on the dining room.

    Wow! For a minute there I thought you had gone to Blackpool! I bet you had an amazing time.I'd love to take my grandchildren sometime.

    Your daughter is such a poppet!! I saw a little girl in a princess dress on the train earlier this week and couldn't help smiling- I not-so-secretly wish I could wear them some days too :) xxx

      Thanks Katie. A few years ago I actually dressed like (middle aged) Ariel for her Princess party. I was too stingy to hire an entertainer! We made a red carpet to go up the front path too. xxx

    Wow, The Eiffel Tower!!! Lucky girl.

    Was Disneyland good, as we are thinking of taking Henry but have heard very mixed reviews?

    Ooh la la, a lovely trip to Paris! We have been once, it was absolutely freezing and we did Disney, but I was pregnant with our third so he feels cheated - we'll have to go back just for him! Plus we didn't get to see the Mona Lisa, because by the time I'd waddled up to the Louvre, it was just closing!

    Yes, you've made me want to go back now. I hope you had a great trip and I bet your little girl thought it was just magical xx

      She thought it was a lot more magical when she was 5 years old. She's kind of past it now! xx
